Yesterday was big and the ground is still shaking here at the 'ol Pickathon HQ. Thanks to everyone that have picked up their tickets and sent positive feedback. It's been a fast, wild ride right out of the gate. Thankfully for many, there are still Pickathon Weekend Tickets and Parking Passes available.

Last year we paid for early entry to be able to find a decent camping spot for 5 adults and 2 little kids. We got there right as things opened up on Thursday to find most camp sites taken. We ended up schlepping all of our stuff and kids way out into the forest and slept at a 45 degree angle for three days! Are you doing anything to ensure that people who pay to be there a day early have a decent shot at a campsite? The horrible camping is a major 'con' we're weighing against all the 'pros'.

We are sold out of all related car camping passes ("camp in your car" and "camp near your car")
Please keep in mind that even when you camp in the woods one is never that far away from their parked car.
The website is a work in progress and will improve as we collect feedback, and so please be specific if you have thoughts on what works and doesn't work as you browse our conceptual redesign.

The food at Pickathon has always been outstanding. Our family appreciates the many vegetarian options and gourmet meals. The one request I would have though, for this year's Pickathon is more wheat/gluten-free alternatives. Many people including myself suffer from some from of gluten or wheat intolerance. And as the diet shift away from gluten is increasing, many people are realizing the health benefits of eating less of these grains. Although food vendors made an attempt to label the GF items on their menus last year, few offered alternatives such as GF buns, crepes, etc. Maybe this year, Pickathon food vendors could offer a few GF baked goods from some of the amazing local GF bakers?

You are correct these are the final tickets at the final ticket price.
Hard to say how long they will last but we calculate that in one day of total sales we have sold the same number of tickets as we did by late April last year.
