Well, you're not alone. Recently we've received several emails wondering about the availability of Single Day Tickets for 2012 Pickathon. Where, how much, and when will they be made available...
The short answer is this:
There are currently only Weekend Tickets available for 2012 Pickathon. IF all Weekend Tickets do not sell out prior to July, then at that time we will be able to make available a small batch of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Only Tickets.
Concerned? Maybe question your Single Day thinking and go for the full-meal-deal with picking up Weekend Tickets today. We are most certain that you will not regret the extra time spent while taking in the full weekend experience.
A side note:
Who out there has been able to catch The Barr Brothers while out on tour this month? Amazing-Amazing live band that deserves every crush they create. By all accounts (from several sources), one of the best live shows in Portland this year. We very much look forward to seeing them again. Curious? I thought the weekend camping would be fun until we tried it last year. We stayed in the "family camp" area. It was so crowded we only barely had enough room for 2 chairs directly in front of our tent. The music was so loud that we lay awake until 3 am. Not OK when camping with a toddler. We were hoping to do the 1 day pass instead this year. Sounds like that may not happen:(

I live in Portland and would love to come to this show. However I work all weekend and would need to request a day off to attend. A schedule of performers and single day tickets should be sold. To not sell single day tickets is specifically selecting your crowd for people that can afford the full price and who have weekends off. This is not in the spirit of Pickathon and should be reconsidered to make it available to everyone who loves this music.

It is unfortunate...some of us don't have the money to spend or that ability to spend a whole weekend at a music festival, though I wish we did. One day passes would be optimal - with a schedule of performers so those of us with limited time and funds could enjoy the show too. :(

Yes, I agree that there should be more options available for people who don't have money to spend for the entire weekend. Offering the option of a shuttle bus is nice, but you would still need to get to Clackamas Town Center each time, and I'm assuming that there is a cost for this pass as well. I would love to know which night Neko Case, Thee Oh Sees and Alela Diane are playing, but with no advance schedule available it is impossible to know. Guess I will just go to the Capitol Hill Block Party in Seattle that features Neko Case and Thee Oh Sees. It is much cheaper at $85.

i'm so tired of multiple day festivals requiring patrons to buy the whole enchilada. for a plethora of reasons not everyone can accommodate a full weekend to events. it comes down to one simple thing...$$$

It is hard to camp for a full weekend with little ones. My daughter loves music and camping, but we need our sleep! If I buy a weekend pass, can the tickets for each day be split between people?

Howdy. For folks that have limited schedules, staying at local hotels, and live locally so do not want to camp - we do have a simple solution for you. Weekend Tickets come with the option and ability to camp at Pendarvis Farm (tent camping in the woods), this is in no way a requirement. The best alternate that we are able to provide is with the EcoShuttle Bus Pass. This is for anyone that does not want to camp, and want to easily come and go throughout the weekend, day or night (subject to exact shuttle hours which will be announced in May). The Ecoshuttle Bus Pass gives you unlimited rides throughout the weekend between Pendarvis Farm and the Clackamas Town Center. The Clackamas Town Center gives you access to either Park & Ride, or arriving by the TriMet Max Green Line (from Portland, or Portland Airport, Greyhound). Weekend Parking Passes are primarily for vehicles that are staying at Pendarvis Farm throughout the Pickathon weekend - In/Out traffic is highly discouraged. Camping is an add-on to weekend tickets but you can come and go as you please. Stay at a hotel nearby or drive back to your home and stay as late or early as you want. I did that one year and it seemed fine until I started camping which I much prefer.

I am waiting for single tickets because the only weekend tickets include camping...which I don't want. Wish there were more options to accommodate all types of schedules.
